What We Do
This is a process that involves trimming trees and plants in such a way that they don’t necessarily seem like they have been trimmed or reduced in size. This type of process is geared towards reducing volume if anything. It is also a good way to make sure that the trees stay healthy during rough weather. We are going to be able to pick up the leaves that otherwise would have fallen directly on your driveway or things like that. Which, will inevitably complicate things a bit more.

When people tend to want to talk about crown thinning they always want to say that you are getting more light. What does that actually mean though? Basically, when you have a tree that has very thick leaves and branches it is bound to give off a lot more shade than a tree that has smaller branches. If the tree is suddenly not so thick anymore then, a lot more light is going to be able to pierce through. That can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing. That it is why it is so important to be able to find the right person or company to provide this service.
Thinning Does Not Equal Disappearing
We really wished that a lot of the people that say they can provide this service really understood this. There is really a fine line between thinning the tree so that it will let in more light or so it won’t have such a rough winter. In these particular cases, we may do some more thinning than we would normally like to. Still, we think that it is very important that we draw that line. Again, this should not be something that is automatically going to make your trees look like they are balding!
